Founded by chef Lisa & her marketing whizz niece Anna, Nibbed Organic Cacao is based in Co. Wicklow.  They source their beans from 2 social enterprises in Nicaragua & The Dominican Republic.

DETAILS OF NIBBED CACAO BLOCK:

Size: 200g

Directions:

Ingredients

  • 20g of nibbed 100% cacao
  • 1/2 tsp spice of choice (cinnamon, cardamom etc)
  • 300m of liquid of choice – milk/plant milk/water (or combination of these)
  • Optional: sweetener of choice (like maple syrup or honey)

Method

  1. Roughly chop the cacao block
  2. Add cacao to pot with liquid of choice
  3. Add spices
  4. Whisk, until cacao is melted
  5. Wait until it gets hot but don’t let it boil
  6. Add to blender or use a stick blender in the pot
  7. Whizz up for 5 secs
  8. Enjoy
